CRANE SUPPORT FOR LOAD TESTING OF CUSTOM LIFTING EQUIPMENT

Project Overview

Superior Machinery was engaged by an industrial client to provide critical lifting support for the load testing of their newly fabricated, custom lifting equipment. Before our client could deploy their new spreader beam, it required a witnessed physical load test to achieve certification from a third-party inspection body, in compliance with DOSH safety standards.

The Challenge

The core requirement was to provide a mobile crane with the capacity and precision to safely apply a specific, controlled test load to the client’s equipment. The operation had to be conducted with utmost accuracy to satisfy the stringent requirements of the third-party certifier and ensure the integrity of the test procedure.

Our Solution

To meet the client's needs, we deployed our 300-ton Zoomlion mobile crane in its main boom configuration, which provided the ideal combination of heavy-lift capacity and operational precision. Our contribution included:
